This position serves as a critical liaison between the Department of War (DoW) leadership and the functional intelligence enterprise. The primary mission is to ensure robust oversight and governance across SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, and OSINT capabilities. You will act as a strategic partner to the Functional Intelligence Division Chief and the War Analysis Division Chief, helping to synchronize activities that directly support the warfighter.
In this role, you will navigate the complex landscape of defense intelligence by producing high-level reports and briefings for Congress and Senior Executive Branch officials. Your work will drive the development and implementation of policy guidance, concepts, and procedures that define how functional intelligence processes operate. By monitoring metrics for Defense Intelligence Enterprise Managers (DIEM), you will help ensure the enterprise remains healthy and capable of delivering timely support.
The role is based in a professional office environment characterized by moderate noise levels, though occasional travel to airfields or locations with large equipment may be required. The position demands a self-starter mindset with strong communication skills, as you will be drafting formal positions, talking papers, and memoranda for senior leadership. While the work involves extended periods at a computer terminal, the team values adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, mission-critical setting.
