As the Senior Financial Policy & International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Lead, you will serve as a subject matter expert within the Office of Budget and Finance (BUDFIN) at Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT). Reporting to the Section Head of Treasury & Accounting, this position is pivotal in ensuring the fiscal transparency and mission readiness of Allied Command Transformation (ACT).
The role focuses heavily on the development, implementation, and oversight of complex financial policies that align with IPSAS and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) financial regulations. You will manage end-to-end financial statement consolidation processes, provide strategic audit support, and lead the modernization of accounting operations. This requires close coordination across ACT entities to execute ACT-wide accounting and reporting responsibilities, ensuring standardized financial reporting across the organization.
