Senior Finance Manager

About the Opportunity

Vaco by Highspring is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Finance Manager for a 6-month contract role with the potential for permanent placement. This hybrid position offers a rate of $150/hour and is designed for a leader who thrives in fast-growing, public company environments.

The Role

In this capacity, you will establish and lead the company's planning cycle, overseeing long-range planning, annual budgets, and monthly or quarterly forecasts. You will be responsible for growing and developing the FP&A team while partnering with management across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product to drive sound financial decisions and operational efficiencies.

Your day-to-day will involve building analytical tools and models to identify business trends, variances, and levers, providing actionable insights to senior management. You will also generate quick ad-hoc analyses to support key business decisions and contract negotiations. Success in this role requires a deep familiarity with public company quarterly close and reporting cadences, as well as a strong understanding of GAAP accounting policies and revenue recognition requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including skill sets, experience, location, and organizational needs. In addition to the hourly rate, the individual may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
