Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare and reconcile accounts for financial operations including debt collection and banking
- check_circleReconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and financial statements
- check_circleReview, analyze, and process corrective vouchers on general ledger accounts
- check_circleAssist in establishing and revalidating commitments and obligations
- check_circleOriginate and post financial data into databases ensuring data integrity
- check_circleDevelop specific financial policies and procedures in collaboration with managers
- check_circleProcess travel and miscellaneous reimbursements
- check_circleAnalyze complex accounting and provide technical assistance to customers
- check_circleGuide entitlements, accounting requirements, and finance policies
- check_circleOffer technical and financial guidance to team members on complex financial matters
- check_circleMonitor and respond to queries from various financial systems and databases
- check_circleResearch finance regulations to resolve standard financial problems
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or closely related field (or 3 years experience in lieu)
- verifiedMinimum 3 years professional experience in financial records processing and management
- verifiedTS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Nice to Have
Strong knowledge of federal GAAP, FASAB, and FASB. Extensive knowledge of sponsor automated financial acquisition systems. Proficiency in quality assurance procedures for financial data integrity. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using financial systems as information management and decision support tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and supervise others.
