The Senior Executive Assistant serves as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring the effective use of their time and facilitating productive interactions with staff, the public, and external stakeholders. This role is designed to independently manage complex projects, information flows, and people, acting as a critical communication hub between the Board of Directors and Corporate Staff.
In this position, you will handle a wide range of administrative tasks, from managing the CEO's schedule and complex travel arrangements to preparing high-level correspondence, speeches, and presentations. You will play a key role in coordinating external boards and committees, cultivating relationships with agents, employees, regulators, and business partners. The role also involves supervising administrative support operations for all Farm Bureau Insurance Vice Presidents, including performance management and training.
A day in the life involves researching and prioritizing sensitive issues, preparing formal minutes for Board of Directors meetings, and assisting with company-wide events such as the annual state of the companies event. You will serve as a backup for the executive communication network and act as a liaison for the President, General Counsel, and other C-suite leaders.
You will be operating within the Farm Bureau Center, supporting the leadership team that drives the organization's mission. This role requires discretion, judgment, and a deep knowledge of the organization to maintain confidentiality and facilitate executive activities effectively.
Qualified candidates with a Bachelor's degree and seven to ten years of administrative experience are encouraged to apply. The role requires proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, strong keyboarding skills, and the ability to work with agricultural and insurance industry terminology.
