The Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to advocating for hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare entities, as well as the patients they serve. The Association provides education and resources for its members while raising public awareness about hospitals and healthcare issues at both the state and national levels.
The Executive Assistant, Member Relations & Education serves as a critical partner to the VP and AVP, ensuring the successful planning and execution of meetings, events, and member engagement initiatives. This role is designed to maintain departmental organization and deliver a seamless, professional experience for members through accurate, timely, and detail-oriented support.
In this position, you will manage high-level administrative and logistical tasks, including coordinating speaker calls, member forums, and complex event logistics. You will act as a gatekeeper for leadership, managing calendars, tracking deadlines, and preparing meeting materials. The role also involves financial administration, such as reconciling event expenses and managing documentation, alongside technology support for database management and virtual meeting platforms.
THA operates on a hybrid work arrangement. While the role requires adherence to a regular in-office or approved hybrid schedule, it also includes operational duties that may require alternative hours at the direction of leadership. A key component of this role is the requirement to operate a motor vehicle safely as part of regular job duties; candidates must maintain a valid driver's license.

Associate or bachelor's degree. Experience in association, nonprofit, or healthcare environment. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Protech), Cvent, Canva, and virtual platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
