Founded in 1866, Deering Lumber operates three locations in Maine, supplying building materials to customers across southern and coastal Maine and along the New Hampshire Seacoast. As a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, the company is dedicated to supporting local construction needs with a long-standing commitment to quality and service.
The Senior Estimator serves as a pivotal link between technical precision and business strategy within our residential construction division. This role goes beyond simple number-crunching; it involves managing the entire bid process to ensure every proposal is accurate, competitive, and aligned with company goals. You will act as a mentor to junior estimators, helping to refine the team's efficiency and consistency while supporting the sales staff with deep insights into blueprint reading and construction procedures.
We believe in building careers, not just filling positions. Deering Lumber supports your educational and career goals through continuing education programs, paid training, and a strong culture of promoting from within. Our benefits package reflects our commitment to your well-being, offering medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and company holidays. Employees also enjoy exclusive discounts and community events like company cookouts.
