Toyota's Manufacturing Parts Operations is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Engineer - Packaging Design in Plano, TX. The primary responsibility of this role is to work with vehicle design to minimize cost impact of part shape changes, manage the development of Tier 1 packaging from vehicle project inception through launch, and support any design concerns or kaizen opportunities after launch.
Reporting to the Packaging Design Manager, the person in this role will support the Manufacturing Parts Organization objective to design packaging to safely deliver parts at the lowest possible environmental impact and cost while ensuring part quality.
