About the Role
The Field Engineer plays a vital role in supporting project execution by managing on-site engineering functions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining quality control. This position involves coordinating project schedules, reviewing plans, and overseeing daily field activities to ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and within project specifications. You will actively promote and carry out the company's safety policies, adhering to the core value of "Safety First, In Everything We Do." The role requires close cooperation in developing innovative construction strategies and participating in strategic project management planning, including the development of comprehensive CPM schedules and resource plans.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage on-site engineering functions and ensure compliance with safety standards
- check_circleOrder and schedule material deliveries to ensure timely project execution
- check_circleSupport project close-out activities including punch list management and system turnover
- check_circleCoordinate project schedules and develop comprehensive CPM schedules with activity work plans
- check_circleDevelop design drawings, engineering calculations, and technical plans for construction activities
- check_circleParticipate in safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and the creation of Job Hazard Analyses
- check_circleAssist in the development and management of project budgets, manpower, and resource plans
- check_circleOversee procurement and management of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- check_circleParticipate in project submittal processes and manage RFIs, shop drawings, and as-builts
Requirements
- verifiedFour-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent
- verifiedTwo years of relevant experience in heavy-civil construction
- verifiedProficient in Microsoft Office and BlueBeam
- verifiedValid Driver's License
Nice to Have
2+ years' construction field experience on heavy civil or infrastructure related projects. Experience utilizing HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, CAD, P6.
