Founded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed deep-tech company with a mission to protect service members and civilians using intelligent systems. Our technology, including the V-BAT and X-BAT aircraft and the Hivemind Enterprise and Vision product lines, actively supports operations worldwide. With offices and facilities across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific, we are dedicated to advancing autonomous capabilities in contested environments.
We are seeking a Senior Operational Analyst to drive the modeling, simulation, and analysis of our aircraft systems. In this position, you will evaluate the effectiveness, survivability, and operational impact of our platforms across multiple domains, missions, and applications. Your work will sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and defense stakeholders, directly influencing design trade-offs and mission outcomes.
You will perform analyses at the component, system, mission, and campaign levels to demonstrate how our AI-powered platforms perform in realistic scenarios. This role is critical for translating operational findings into actionable system insights, ensuring our technology meets the rigorous demands of modern defense operations. You will collaborate closely with DoD stakeholders and operators to understand mission needs, refine concepts of operations (CONOPS), and monitor emerging threats relevant to autonomous air combat systems.
