The Antenna/Microwave and E3 Department provides innovative and affordable solutions to customers across all business areas. We are responsible for designing phased array antenna systems, including active and passive microwave components, radiators, radomes, and a variety of RF subassemblies. About the Role

The Senior EMI Effects Engineer is responsible for the architecture design of electronics for extremely low electromagnetic emissions and high tolerance to external electromagnetic interferers. Applications include EMSEC and electronic warfare, with an emphasis on the design of advanced missiles or similar applications. This role focuses on applied methods to control self-interference in high-gain, high-speed, low-noise advanced sensor systems, including radar and electro-optic guidance units. Key areas of focus include grounding strategies, power distribution, shielding, partitioning, and noise-reduction methods.

You will serve as a visible and accountable technical contact for the customer, managing requirements, technical commitments, IRAD, and future technical needs. As a key member of the team, you will participate in major review boards such as the Engineering Review Board, Failure Review Board, and Risk and Opportunity Review Board. You will provide technical conscience, ensuring products and processes meet appropriate standards while advising leadership on balancing risk conditions and constraints.

This is an onsite role in Marlborough, MA.

Hiring Process & Application

This position requires a U.S. government-issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. An active DoD Secret clearance is required after day one. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
