We are looking for an Electrical Component Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role is critical to supporting programs across the proposal, System Design Description, Low-Rate Initial Production (SDD, LRIP), production, and support phases. You will perform and assist in Parts Engineering, Components Engineering, or Applications engineering tasks, serving as a key interface between designers, product development engineering, the Electronic Computer Aided Design (ECAD) function, program management, and other disciplines.
This position requires a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret). U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only citizens are eligible for this clearance. The selected candidate must have an active and existing security clearance after day one.
The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website.

Understanding of the application of technical theories and concepts as they apply to electronic components and the parts management field. Experience working with Mentor Graphics Expedition or Design Architect and circuit simulation/analysis tools (PSPICE, Analog Workbench). Experience in data collection and presentation skills to adequately discuss system impact of component obsolescence issues. Knowledge of component failure modes by commodity, component reliability process monitors and/or qualification methodologies. Knowledge of Component MIL drawings, standards, test specifications, and associated QPLs and QMLs.
