About the Role
The Components Engineer serves as a critical technical resource within the Andover, MA facility, focusing on the integrity and lifecycle management of electronic and electromechanical components. This onsite contract role is designed to support complex engineering programs, ensuring that parts data is accurate, standardized, and aligned with supply chain realities.
In this position, you will act as the bridge between design requirements and manufacturing execution. Your day-to-day involves managing the creation and maintenance of parts within the Windchill database, ensuring Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy through timely updates. You will coordinate the preparation of technical documentation, such as drawings, to support part changes, while utilizing obsolescence monitoring tools like Silicon Experts to proactively identify and resolve supply chain issues. A key focus of the role is driving part standardization to optimize engineering efficiency.
