About the Role

The Senior Director of Sales serves as the strategic commercial leader for Libra Industries' precision CNC machining and engineered manufacturing services. This position is uniquely designed for a technically credible professional who sells manufacturing services rather than capital equipment. The role exists to drive new customer acquisition and strategic account growth within a contract manufacturing platform focused on high-precision components and assemblies.

You will act as the primary interface between our customers and our internal engineering, operations, quality, and program management teams. Success in this role requires engaging a diverse range of stakeholders—from engineering and supply chain leaders to executive decision-makers—at leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. The goal is to position Libra Industries as a long-term manufacturing partner capable of delivering tight tolerances, high reliability, and disciplined program execution across advanced industrial, medical, and life sciences markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleIdentify, qualify, and close contract manufacturing opportunities for precision-machined components
  • check_circleLead commercial and technical sales engagements including RFQs and supplier qualifications
  • check_circleAct as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal engineering and operations teams
  • check_circleBuild relationships with engineering, sourcing, and executive leadership at OEM customers
  • check_circleSupport pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial terms for machining programs
  • check_circleManage and maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and CRM data
  • check_circleCoordinate internal technical resources to support quoting and customer onboarding
  • check_circleRepresent the company at customer meetings, technical reviews, and industry events
  • check_circleDrive multi-year program wins and secure long-term production agreements
  • check_circleDevelop and execute targeted new-business and account-growth strategies for CNC machining services

Requirements

  • verifiedMinimum of 8–12 years of successful B2B manufacturing services sales experience
  • verifiedStrong working knowledge of CNC machining processes, materials, tolerances, and inspection requirements
  • verifiedProven track record selling contract manufacturing and machining services for complex products to OEM customers
  • verifiedExperience supporting RFQ, supplier qualification, and production ramp programs
  • verifiedAbility to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

Successful track record of driving growth with customers across a variety of high-growth industrial, medical, and life sciences manufacturing companies.
