This hybrid position is based at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday. As the Senior Director of Facility Development, you will serve as the strategic owner's representative, leading the lifecycle of healthcare facility projects from concept to completion. You will bridge the gap between clinical needs and physical infrastructure, ensuring that ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, and healthcare facilities are designed and built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will navigate a fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex projects independently while coordinating with physicians, hospital partners, and internal stakeholders. Your day-to-day involves overseeing external design consultants, contractors, and vendors, reviewing design documents for compliance, and monitoring construction sites to verify progress and quality. You will also play a key role in real estate activities, including lease document reviews, and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial reporting in close collaboration with Finance.
The role requires a physical ability to navigate active construction sites and climb ladders, alongside a normal busy office environment with significant telephone communication. While the position is hybrid, it includes a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time by air or automobile to support various project locations. The environment may involve long hours as needed to meet project deadlines and organizational goals.
