This position functions on a regional basis as the primary equipment liaison for the field sales force, operating with limited supervision. You will be responsible for supplying cost-effective and reliable equipment systems that support the sale of Water Treatment and Pulp & Paper Chemicals. Your scope encompasses the full lifecycle of equipment systems, including specification, design, construction oversight, field installation, start-up, and troubleshooting.
Success in this role is measured by the cost efficiency and performance of the systems you design and deploy in the field. You will serve as an equipment systems expert, providing critical support to ensure the sales force can correctly specify, install, and operate these systems. The role involves managing equipment project requests, optimizing the field equipment capital asset pool to minimize idle assets, and facilitating design recommendations that ensure a low-cost procurement path.
Additionally, you will drive product development by supporting the design and launch of new equipment offerings and facilitate technology transfer through training and technical information to deepen the organization's understanding of equipment technology.
