PD Inc International is a leading high-tech firm and applied think tank with over 20 years of experience providing expertise and solutions to the U.S. Government (including the Department of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs) and commercial clients. Our team specializes in software development, complex technical implementation, R&D, and prototyping. We foster a highly innovative environment that encourages employees to innovate while instilling discipline and principles, ensuring consistent learning and growth for our engineers and technical managers.
We are seeking a mission-driven Senior Database Vulnerability Analyst to provide critical Cybersecurity Management support within a U.S. Department of Defense environment. In this role, you will serve as an application technical specialist for assets connected to isolated environments, including NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
Your day-to-day work involves reviewing, identifying, and reporting on the installation and operations of application instances to ensure robust security. You will analyze system options, software configurations, and default security controls to identify vulnerabilities. A key part of your mission is to determine the impact and risk of change requests prior to implementation, participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to provide cyber oversight for database and web changes. You will recommend security countermeasures to mitigate identified risks and ensure compliance with DoD and DISA directives.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of vulnerability management: identifying, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on vulnerabilities, with a focus on escalating high-risk and high-severity issues. You will validate compliance with Security Requirements Guides (SRG) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), documenting discrepancies and recommending policy modifications. Additionally, you will create and maintain automated, customized vulnerability reports and brief status updates to DISA customers and Mission Partners.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance. The application process requires a current 8570/8140 requirement certification. Qualified applicants will be reviewed for their ability to support the mission-critical needs of the DoD environment.
PD Inc International is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We sponsor security clearances for new, qualified employees and value the unique perspectives that a diverse workforce brings to our mission.
