We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Arlington, VA office. This part-time position is contingent upon additional funding. In this role, you will serve as a critical liaison between the RISC team and the CIO, addressing server and system issues related to AWS and Azure environments. You will engineer data analytic solutions ranging from prototyping and proof of concept to full implementation, ensuring compatibility between equipment and software while analyzing operational requirements.
Your day-to-day work involves analyzing Postal Service operations to identify potential fraud schemes, actors, and methods. You will participate in site visits to interpret in-the-field observations, identify corresponding data, and perform analysis to uncover broader findings. Beyond technical execution, you will provide guidance to coworkers on business and technical issues, facilitate communication between business owners and IT support staff, and assist with training and conference development, including presenting to large audiences.
This position requires the ability to obtain a USPS Public Trust clearance. Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate their expertise in complex data environments, including the creation of datasets, visualizations, and interactive reports.

Knowledge and experience in the law enforcement and/or audit industry. Knowledge and experience using cloud computing platforms such as Azure. Knowledge and experience with relational databases and structured query language (SQL). Specialized experience working with programming languages (e.g., Python), business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), and analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks). Professional Certification(s) in a related field of data science and/or data analytics disciplines.
