The Lead Architect serves as the anchor for MGA's strategic transformation from a support-focused IT model to a product-centric, innovation-driven technology organization. This hands-on technical leadership role is responsible for establishing the architectural foundation for our global MGA's emerging solution development and automation enablement capability.
You will define the technical pathways that connect experimentation with enterprise readiness. Your mission is to build the frameworks, environments, and standards needed to prototype agent-driven solutions quickly and transition them seamlessly into MGA's traditional IT ecosystem. This position blends modern software engineering and cloud-native development with a deep understanding of traditional IT systems, including ERP, data platforms, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
As the Lead Architect, you will operate at the intersection of rapid innovation and enterprise stability. You will design and build the company's automation sandbox environment, ensuring it remains secure, compliant, and scalable for experimentation. You will own the API strategy, integration patterns, and microservice architecture, delivering reference implementations and starter templates that accelerate product team velocity.
You will act as the senior-most technical mentor, guiding full-stack developers, ML engineers, and platform engineers. Your work involves partnering with solution designers and data miners to architect automation-enabled features while ensuring all new solutions fit MGA's security, governance, and operational standards. You will serve as the bridge between modern development practices and the existing enterprise IT estate, collaborating with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Data teams to ensure smooth integration and long-term maintainability.
