As a core member of the Legal team, the Senior Counsel, Commercial serves as a trusted advisor across the organization, reporting to the Head of Legal. This role is pivotal in driving the structuring, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of commercial agreements, including partnerships, technology, professional services, marketing, and vendor contracts.
The Senior Counsel partners closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, providing clear legal guidance and advising on business and legal risks. The position focuses on managing and improving contract lifecycle processes, leveraging tools such as Ironclad and AI-enabled solutions to streamline workflows. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining legal templates, playbooks, and scalable processes, while providing counsel to product and technology teams on new features and launches. Advising on data privacy and security matters, particularly regarding data processing agreements and privacy compliance, is a key aspect of the work.
