Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role is designed for individuals who are flexible and adaptable, ready to support a variety of branch locations within a specific geography. You will step in to cover vacancies or support colleagues who are out of the office, ensuring seamless customer service across the network.
In this position, you will participate in the delivery of an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach. You will propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially, while assisting with basic requests such as opening new accounts and submitting credit applications. You will exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures, developing a deep understanding of bank products to connect effectively with customer needs.
As a SAFE position, this role involves customer contact and duties that may include the offering or negotiating of terms for dwelling-secured transactions. Consequently, the position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results and Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.
Candidates must be prepared to travel 100% of the time within the assigned district and commute to the specific branch location(s) for the duration of the assignment. Mileage reimbursement is provided. The role requires a schedule that may include most Saturdays. Please note that this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
The SAFE registration process will be initiated immediately after your employment start date. Successful candidates must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess financial responsibility, though a credit score is not included in the evaluation. Candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening if necessary.
