About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lines Account Executive to serve as the lead relationship manager for a substantial, multi-million dollar commercial portfolio. This role is designed for a consultative professional who thrives in a client-facing environment, managing a diversified group of mid-to-large market accounts across industries such as real estate, construction, manufacturing, nonprofit organizations, distribution, and staffing firms.
In this position, you will own the full lifecycle of account servicing, from renewals and carrier negotiations to policy delivery and marketing strategies. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop high-value solutions for complex insurance needs while leveraging a dedicated virtual assistant to handle routine transactional and administrative workflows. The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management of policy documentation, audits, and invoicing within the agency's management system.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Suffolk County. The work model is designed for flexibility, requiring in-office attendance only on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleManage account servicing including renewals, marketing, carrier negotiation, binding, and policy delivery

- check_circleOversee policy documentation, endorsements, audits, invoicing, and insurance certificates
- check_circleEnsure client files, notes, and policy records are accurate and current in the agency management system
- check_circleRetain, expand, and service a mid-to-large market commercial book of business
Requirements
- verified5+ years of commercial lines experience
- verifiedExperience servicing mid-market and large commercial accounts
- verifiedStrong knowledge of GL, Auto, Property, Workers' Comp, and Umbrella coverages
- verifiedProficient with agency management and document systems
- verifiedSolid understanding of carrier appetites and underwriting guidelines
Nice to Have
Experience servicing mid-market and large commercial accounts with premiums of $100K or more.
