As a Building Engineer with Hines, you will maintain the basic operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems. You will routinely review operating conditions and established programs with your Supervisor to understand and resolve any abnormal operating issues. This role requires you to apply working knowledge of HVAC distribution and controls to make adjustments and corrective actions, ensuring established operating criteria are met within safety and environmental guidelines.
You will be a vital part of the operation staff, performing as a team member to provide prompt and courteous responses to tenant requests. Your day will involve maintaining ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and tenants while actively participating in required training activities. You will also demonstrate full competency in emergency procedures, assisting with evacuations, bomb searches, life safety system alarms, and emergency authorities as needed.
