About the Role
As a Building Engineer at Hines, you will ensure the basic operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems. This role is designed to combine a hospitality culture with real estate knowledge to create spaces where people feel valued, connected, and inspired. You will routinely review operating conditions with your supervisor to resolve abnormal issues while maintaining a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.
Your day-to-day involves ensuring all building maintenance aligns with Hines' service level standards, supporting the delivery of Hospitality Standards, and providing timely, hospitable responses to inquiries and work orders. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, maintain detailed operation logs, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws. Success in this role requires a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate professionally to achieve the team's strategic goals.
