About the Role

Join Shive-Hattery's Cedar Rapids, IA Transportation Team as a Bridge Engineer. In this role, you will advance your career while leading innovative bridge and civil structures projects. You will work closely with clients and contribute to a variety of projects, including bridge and box culvert design, lake and dam spillways, retaining walls, tunnels, park structures, water and wastewater treatment plant concrete tanks, and riverfront developments.\n The role offers a unique balance: access to a large pool of resources within a 600+ person design firm, combined with a small-firm feel where you build personal connections with colleagues, partners, and clients. You will have the freedom to chart your own course and make an impact, embodying the mission to "Design What Matters" to make the world a better place.
