About the Role

Join Shive-Hattery's Iowa City, IA Transportation Team as a Bridge Engineer. This role is designed for professionals who want to advance their careers while leading innovative bridge and civil structures projects. You will work closely with clients and contribute to a variety of projects, including bridge and box culvert design, lake and dam spillways, retaining walls, tunnels, park structures, water and wastewater treatment plant concrete tanks, and riverfront developments.

The position offers a unique balance: the resources of a 600+ person design firm combined with the personal connections of a smaller firm. You will have the freedom to chart your own course and make a tangible impact, embodying the firm's mission to "Design What Matters" and make the world a better place.
