We are seeking a Release Manager for a 12-month contract based in Orlando, FL. This hybrid role requires onsite presence four days per week, offering a dynamic environment where you will bridge the gap between technical execution and strategic process improvement.
In this position, you will serve as a key partner to the CMO and IT delivery teams, driving the improvement, execution, and measurement of our release management processes. Your day-to-day will involve managing the full lifecycle of releases with a focus on communication, planning, and continual improvement. You will lead post-deployment reviews to gather feedback, ensuring that lessons learned are incorporated into future releases to enhance readiness and effectiveness.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to maintaining the integrity of our change management ecosystem. You will open, maintain, and close change records in ServiceNow, ensuring all documentation meets the strict acceptance criteria for the NBC-CMO and Parks Technology CAB. You will actively participate in Change and Release meetings, including delivery stand-ups and CAB sessions, while monitoring the forward schedule of change to identify and mitigate potential risks across the organization.
Beyond execution, you will be instrumental in evolving our release best practices. By analyzing internal and external processes, you will identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions. You will also implement scalable metrics and KPIs to evaluate release readiness, assessing trends and key drivers of release risk to support the IT Delivery Teams in maintaining a stable production environment.
We foster a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management. As part of our commitment to a safe working environment, all team members are expected to understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policies, procedures, and training activities.
Interested candidates should submit their resume highlighting their experience with ITIL, ServiceNow, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Please note that this is a contract position with specific onsite requirements in Orlando.
