The Senior Analyst, Government & Regulatory Affairs is a strategic role designed to sustain and enhance Plains' state and local government and regulatory affairs. This position exists to bridge the gap between complex policy landscapes and business priorities, ensuring the company navigates the regulatory environment with agility and foresight.
You will serve as a proactive problem-solver, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address issues in a strategic manner. The day-to-day involves coordinating with multiple disciplines to develop public affairs strategies, building relationships with local, state, and federal public officials, and engaging with trade associations and community groups. You will act as a key advisor to leadership by monitoring legislative and political issues, managing a portfolio of consultants across the U.S., and preparing briefing materials that drive decision-making. Success in this role requires a collaborative spirit, the ability to adapt engagement strategies to diverse audiences, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
