Department Overview
The Strategy Department is responsible for the ongoing review and implementation of PG&E's 10-year enterprise strategy, known as the True North Strategy (TNS).
About the Role
We are looking for a corporate strategy analyst to help shape the long-term direction of our electric and gas utility business as the industry undergoes rapid transformation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling complex, system-level challenges, ranging from grid modernization and financial growth to regulatory strategy and customer energy solutions.
You will partner with leaders across operations, finance, regulatory affairs, and customer programs to evaluate opportunities, assess risks, and support initiatives that strengthen the reliability, affordability, and sustainability of our energy services. Success in this position requires both an internal and external perspective, as our operating environment is changing dramatically and our internal capabilities must evolve to meet the moment.
Work Environment
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The primary work location is Oakland, CA.
Compensation Philosophy
PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Policy, Sociology, Engineering, Physics or other related fields or equivalent work experience
- verifiedMinimum of 6 years of job-related experience
- verified2+ years in a management consultant related role or corporate strategy experience
- verifiedExceptional Microsoft PowerPoint skills

Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities at once. Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with multiple diverse stakeholder groups. Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint skills. Proven ability to manage fast paced and highly dynamic situations.
