The Materials Distribution Operations (MDO) department serves as the backbone of PG&E's energy delivery network. With 370 employees managing a $700 million inventory across four distribution centers and over 100 field locations, the team ensures the safe and reliable flow of materials throughout a 70,000-square-mile service territory. MDO's execution is critical to maintaining PG&E's ability to provide essential electric and gas services to its customers.
This position leads the development and implementation of performance improvement projects within the Supply Chain Materials Distribution Operations, guiding initiatives from inception to closeout. You will serve as a vital operational support link, managing requests through the MDO PMO Support mailbox and facilitating the resolution of daily issues across Distribution Centers, Field Services, and Planning organizations.

You will engage IT partners to define business requirements and manage user-acceptance testing for SAP enhancements, while also supporting emergency response activities within the EOC and MTCC Logistics sections. This hybrid role allows you to work from a remote office and a PG&E office determined by business needs.
