The Senior Acquisition Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to program and contracting leadership, providing expert-level support for federal procurement and acquisition activities. This role is critical for ensuring strict compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency supplements, and applicable policies while managing high-value, mission-critical programs.
In this position, you will lead the end-to-end acquisition lifecycle, from strategic planning and market research to solicitation, evaluation, award, and contract administration. You will operate as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on contracting approaches, contract types, pricing strategies, and procurement risks. The role demands the ability to provide independent judgment on complex procurement issues and to produce high-quality, audit-ready deliverables that meet the rigorous standards of a highly regulated environment.
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to have an active Public Trust or security clearance, or the ability to obtain one. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate with senior government leadership.
