A well-established industrial construction organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This role serves as a core accounting seat focused on the month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and reporting for an affiliate entity. Unlike heavy transactional accounts payable or receivable positions, this role offers ownership of the close process while working closely with the Assistant Controller and VP of Finance on financial reporting and compliance.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of public accounting and industry experience, preferably with exposure to the construction sector. Given the parent company structure, familiarity with SOX controls is expected. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the parent company, assist with tax reporting, and coordinate financial statement reviews and audits from both internal and external firms.

Active CPA license. Experience with construction or project-based accounting systems such as Sage 300 or Timberline. Prior experience supporting financial reporting to a parent company.

Education: Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
