About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the VP of Finance and Accounting, playing a pivotal role in our continued growth. This position is designed to ensure the integrity of our financial data while navigating the complexities of the managed care landscape. You will be the guardian of our financial reporting, applying U.S. GAAP to prepare accurate statements and manage critical close processes.
In this hybrid role, you will split your time between our Orange, CA office and remote work. Your day will involve analyzing financial information, overseeing cash deposits, and preparing monthly journal entries. You will collaborate closely with external auditors and health plans to ensure compliance with Department of Managed Health Care agreements, while also supporting budget and forecast activities. This role requires a balance of meticulous attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, ensuring that all financial records remain compliant with accepted policies and procedures.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of progressively responsible experience. While specific technical skills like SAGE 100 or Microsoft SQL are advantageous, our primary focus is on your ability to interpret financial data and your commitment to our core values.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
