About the Role

Capital Square is expanding its footprint into residential property management and seeks a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager for Capital Square Living, this role is pivotal in managing the daily accounting and month-end reporting for a portfolio of residential properties within the company's Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

You will serve as a key collaborator across the organization, working closely with asset management, property management, and finance teams. A significant portion of your day will involve partnering with the Controller on overall REIT-related tasks, ensuring seamless financial consolidation and operational accuracy. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape financial processes during a period of strategic growth.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our headquarters in Glen Allen, Virginia, with the flexibility of one optional remote day per week. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, though hours may vary as position requirements dictate.
