As a Manager, you will lead a team of 4-6 accountants and analysts in the review of monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and analytical reports. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our General Ledger and ensuring compliance with GAAP and Statutory/IDR reporting standards. You will serve as the department leader for significant projects, such as system migrations, business integrations, and new product offerings, often collaborating across departments to drive success.
Your day-to-day involves developing business policies, supervising data modeling and forecasting, and ensuring internal controls meet MAR documentation standards. You will provide functional coaching to your team, mentor staff, and manage performance reviews. Additionally, you will act as a key liaison with other departments and external agencies to address complex information requests and drive process improvements.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a structured interview process designed to assess technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by in-depth discussions regarding your experience with financial reporting, system knowledge, and team management.
