About the Role
As a Senior Account Manager, you will serve as the owner of your own portfolio, representing Circle Logistics to new and established customers. This role exists to build and manage a robust book of business while nurturing relationships into long-term partnerships. You will be the primary contact for all account communications, solving complex problems and providing personalized solutions that align with our "No Fail" policy.
Your day-to-day will be fast-paced and competitive. You will generate new sales opportunities, negotiate freight rates with carriers, and manage daily shipments to ensure timely pick-up and delivery. Success in this role requires the ability to handle high call volumes, celebrate successes, and immediately pivot back to work. You will operate with autonomy, making independent decisions while collaborating with the team on pricing strategies and account implementation plans.

- check_circleActively procure new carriers based on volume and lane density
- check_circleQualify carriers to prevent service failures and take responsibility for critical loads
- check_circleAnalyze customer needs and offer personalized transportation solutions
- check_circleCollaborate with the team on pricing strategy and account implementation plans
- check_circleReview sales activities and prospective customers with management
- check_circleServe as the main contact for all account communications and solve complex problems
- check_circleBuild strategies to increase sales and strengthen partnerships
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- verified3-5 years of experience in a brokerage/logistics environment
- verifiedExperience with and/or ability to learn a variety of TMS/CRM platforms
- verifiedAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
