About Micron Technology

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence. We inspire the world to learn, communicate, and advance faster than ever.

About the Role

As a key member of our semiconductor team, you will evaluate new hardware platforms and process chemistries while performing fundamental research and chemistry development. Your work will generate intellectual property relevant to the company and help develop revolutionary wet process technologies that enable future DRAM technology nodes.

You will establish technology roadmaps and collaborate with Micron engineers and suppliers to develop processes that meet device requirements for the future. The role involves starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to improve product quality, reliability, yield, and cost reduction. You will also manage risk, resolve manufacturing line problems, and identify or diagnose assembly process issues using methodologies such as failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC/FDC.

In this position, you will coordinate and carry out process, equipment, and material evaluations to implement process steps. You will lead yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handle new process baseline qualifications, and manage, audit, and liaise with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk management objectives. This role requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Our Benefits and Culture

As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth. Our benefits are designed to help you stay well, provide peace of mind, and help you prepare for the future. We offer a choice of medical, dental, and vision plans in all locations, enabling team members to select the plans that best meet their family healthcare needs and budget.

Micron also provides benefit programs that help protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury, along with paid family leave. Additionally, our benefits include a robust paid time-off program and paid holidays.
