About the Role
As a Training Specialist 2, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the field of electrical engineering and computer science, specifically focusing on SIGINT systems and wireless communications. Your primary mission is to bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and operational understanding for military and agency personnel.
In this role, you will design, develop, and conduct comprehensive training programs, ranging from instructor-led sessions to web-based courses. You will be responsible for drafting and finalizing training documentation, creating slides, diagrams, student guides, and practical assessments. A key part of your day involves presenting these materials to large audiences and briefing stakeholders on operational concepts.
Beyond content creation, you will provide mentorship and guidance to junior contractor personnel involved in systems and equipment training. You will continuously analyze training problems to identify needs, evaluate outcomes based on student and customer feedback, and revise materials to ensure operational scenario accuracy. Additionally, you will perform inspections of training programs and personnel to ensure strict compliance with Government policy.
