About the Role
We are seeking Owner Operators for Round Trip Over-The-Road (OTR) freight. This role offers flexibility in compensation models, allowing you to choose between percentage-based pay or a flat rate per mile. Options include 80% of net (you cover trailer, we cover insurance), 75% of net (you cover both), or a flat rate structure. Drivers will haul a variety of trailer types, including car carriers, hazmat tankers, live haul, pneumatic tankers, intermodal containers, dry vans, and flatbeds.
The position involves dedicated, line-haul, and LTL routes with an average of 3,000 to 3,500 miles per week. Drivers can expect a gross weekly average of $3,000 to $4,500, paid weekly. The role includes paid fuel surcharges and base plate discounts. As an Owner Operator, you will not be required to load, unload, or tarp loads.
Home Time & Equipment
Drivers can expect to be out for 5 to 30 days, with the flexibility to stay out longer if desired. The schedule ensures you are home for at least three weekends per month. We operate newer trailers, and we provide free truck parking, tire discounts, and service discounts. A fuel card and IFTA services are provided. The maximum truck age accepted is 15 years.
Hiring Process & Orientation
To apply, candidates must possess a Class A license and have at least two years of tractor-trailer experience. Orientation is required but is not paid and does not cover accommodation, meals, or travel expenses. During orientation, drivers are assigned their own room.
