E&D Children Center is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic independent professionals to serve as Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) within our CPSE program. This role is designed for those passionate about supporting early childhood development, specifically providing therapy to children ages 3 to 5 years.
As a SEIT, you will operate across diverse settings, including schools, homes, and community-based environments. Your work involves collaborating closely with families and a multi-disciplinary team to develop tailored goals and outcomes for each child. A key part of your day will be educating family members on intervention strategies to facilitate their active involvement in their child's progress. You will also be responsible for conducting necessary evaluations and writing comprehensive reports that comply with district standards and state and city regulations.
