About the Company
Alarmtec Systems recently joined the Impact Fire Services team as a subsidiary company. We specialize in providing individualized attention to commercial, industrial, and government accounts with complex requirements for Fire Alarm Systems, Structured Cabling Systems, Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance Systems, Security Systems, and Intercom & Nurse Call Systems. While our corporate operations are based out of our Sherwood, Arkansas District office, this specific position will be working out of our Phoenix, AZ office.
About the Role
As a Technician, you will be the face of our service delivery, responsible for providing inspections, installations, programming, and service on a variety of security alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. This role exists to ensure our customers' safety systems operate flawlessly while maintaining the high standards of quality that define our brand.
In this position, you will manage your time to complete the maximum amount of service, inspection, and installation calls possible. You will work directly with the company to obtain local city listing agents and are expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals set by the Security Alarm Manager. Your day-to-day involves troubleshooting and fixing customer issues with a firm understanding of how low voltage systems operate, ensuring that every call is resolved efficiently and safely.

You will be expected to work independently on service calls and small job sites as directed by a supervisor, taking ownership of your tasks to ensure timely completion for our customers. Safety is paramount; you must work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures, including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for yourself, co-workers, and customers.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to travel for weeks at a time and work nights if needed to meet customer demands. We also support your professional growth by encouraging you to learn applicable codes and obtain necessary state licensing, as well as pursuing certifications like NICET and other trade-specific credentials.
