About the Role
This position serves as a critical link between technical maintenance and facility security. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of video and surveillance equipment, ensuring operational integrity through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely replacements. Beyond the technical aspects, the role involves active monitoring of the facility via CCTV systems, acting as a first responder to alarms, and maintaining detailed logs for regulatory compliance and potential legal proceedings.
The day-to-day rhythm of this role balances hands-on technical work with vigilant observation. You will spend time servicing equipment, managing inventory levels, and assisting with new installations. When assigned to the monitoring room, your focus shifts to "patrolling" the facility virtually through PTZ and fixed cameras, observing gaming areas, entrances, and secure zones like the coin vault. You will also monitor fire alarm panels and respond to system troubles, ensuring that all activities are documented accurately for internal review or court evidence.
Work Environment
This role requires flexibility to meet the operational needs of the facility. You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights according to the schedule. Additionally, the position requires the ability to distinguish all colors to effectively monitor systems and identify equipment status indicators.
