About the Role
Our service teams are dedicated to providing exceptional on-site service for Securitas Technology products. This position serves as the primary client contact for all post-installation issues regarding systems and equipment. Beyond troubleshooting, the role involves executing special project work as needed to ensure the continued reliability and performance of our security infrastructure.
In this role, you will be the face of our technical expertise at client sites, diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure maximum uptime. You will work both individually and as part of a team to maintain system integrity, performing preventative maintenance and executing configuration changes. A key part of your day will involve documenting system modifications and producing high-quality technical documentation that bridges the gap between complex technical concepts and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedExperience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment
- verifiedWorking knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms
- verifiedWorking knowledge of network communications and IP addressing
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- verifiedNICET certification or State Fire License preferred
- verifiedESA Certified Alarm Technician preferred
- verifiedNTS Certified Service Technician preferred
Nice to Have
Experience with Bosch, Silent Knight fire alarm systems. Experience with Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems. NICET certification or State Fire License. ESA Certified Alarm Technician certification. NTS Certified Service Technician certification. Certifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control.
