Guided by Jewish values, history, and traditions, the center builds and strengthens community by engaging individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds through cultural, educational, recreational, and social responsibility programs.
We are seeking a Security Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership and day-to-day oversight of our security guard team. This role ensures that security operations run smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with the organization's protocols and standards. The position serves as a vital link between the Director of Security & Emergency Preparedness and the frontline team, modeling professionalism, vigilance, and exemplary adherence to EDCJCC security standards.
As the Security Supervisor, you will serve as the acting security lead in the absence of the Director, managing alarms and maintaining working relationships with security vendors and law enforcement partners. The role requires a balance of on-post responsibilities and administrative duties, including recordkeeping, incident documentation, and reporting. While the schedule is flexible, the position requires consistent availability during evening and weekend hours to meet operational needs, with some off-hours responsiveness for guard call-outs and emergency situations.
To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume to Stephanie DeLorenzo, Director of Security & Emergency Preparedness, at sdelorenzo@edcjcc.org. A writing assignment may be required as part of the hiring process.
