JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). About the Role
This position serves as a critical administrative and personnel security support pillar for the unit manager and security staff. You will be the operational face of the site security department, managing the lifecycle of employee and consultant clearances from initial application to periodic reinvestigation. Your day-to-day involves communicating with clearance granting agencies, issuing security badges, maintaining detailed logs, and facilitating essential security briefings. Additionally, you will provide work direction to lower-level clerical personnel and ensure timely coordination of documents for security processing.

This role is part of a tasking effort supporting a federal government contract. Consequently, candidates must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. A valid, state-issued driver's license is also required. The inability to obtain or maintain these requirements may affect employment eligibility.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleCommunicate with clearance granting agencies regarding employee clearance status and re-investigations
- check_circleObtain certification of existing and prospective employee clearance levels from appropriate sponsors
- check_circleProvide work direction to lower-level departmental clerical and administrative personnel
- check_circleOversee departmental coordination for timely submission of clearance documents and fingerprinting
- check_circleSchedule initial, periodic, and exit briefings and notify supervisors and employees of schedules
Requirements
- verifiedAssociate's degree or equivalent military/technical school
- verified5 years experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields
- verifiedIndustrial Security Management Course completion
