HCRC is seeking a qualified Security Specialist to support a government client in Washington D.C. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of classified information and ensuring all personnel meet strict security standards for sensitive duties.
As a Security Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for personnel security investigations and clearance management. Your day-to-day involves assessing eligibility for access to classified information, preparing and monitoring investigation requests, and maintaining accurate records of clearances and access authorizations. You will also conduct security briefings for arriving and departing staff, ensure the execution of Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreements (SF 312), and develop security training programs for coordinators and staff.
This position requires a high level of precision in safeguarding classified information, including its classification, declassification, transmission, and destruction. Success in this role depends on the ability to navigate complex security systems such as TASS, DISS, CATS, JVS, SWFT, and NBIS while maintaining strong administrative and communication skills.
Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to Washington, DC (20581) to reliably commute to the site. The role is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift schedule.
