This Security position is dedicated to protecting the company's assets and ensuring a safe environment for both employees and guests. As a representative of the company, you will uphold casino regulations and maintain confidentiality in accordance with Harrah's guidelines.
Your day will involve patrolling all sections of the casino to identify safety hazards and security breaches. You will be responsible for enforcing security regulations and guarding the transfer of money throughout the property. In addition to standard patrols, you may be called upon to administer first aid and CPR as needed, or initiate investigative processes under the direction of the Security Supervisor.
You will serve as a role model for other employees, presenting a well-groomed appearance and demonstrating honesty and trustworthiness. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining alertness in a noisy, fast-paced environment while responding to visual, olfactory, and aural cues.
This position requires significant physical activity, including the ability to maneuver to all areas of the casino, run, and stand or walk for long periods regardless of weather conditions. You must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 25 lbs. in each hand, assisting with heavy carts, and performing tasks such as pushing heavy loads, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, gripping, stooping, and crouching.
The role demands flexibility, including the ability to work a schedule that covers weekends, evenings, and holidays. You must be able to exercise good judgment in adverse situations and remain alert to radio traffic in a high-energy casino setting.
Preference is given to Ak-Chin community members and members of other recognized Arizona tribes.
