As a Shift Supervisor, you will serve as a vital link within our interdisciplinary team, responsible for the management and supervision of Residential Aide staff at our Gowanus/Park Slope location in Brooklyn, NY. Working the 4pm–12am shift from Sunday through Thursday, you will ensure the site operates effectively and in strict accordance with guidelines established by CHI, OTDA, and other funding sources.
This role is designed for compassionate individuals who want to give back to their community. You will oversee the daily running of the site, manage staffing for weekends and overnights, and ensure that residents receive quality services. Your day will involve supervising staff, conducting fire drills, monitoring safety protocols, and acting as a liaison with referring agencies. You will also serve as an on-call supervisor, providing limited crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents.
