About the Role

We are currently hiring Flex Security Officers for the Whitestown, IN area. This role is crucial to our operational and financial success, providing trained, competent support by filling shifts that become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This flexibility enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers while protecting the health and work-life balance of our personnel.

As a Flex Officer, you will not be assigned to a permanent post. Instead, you will be trained at various posts and facilities based on operational need. Your schedule, including shifts, days off, and hours per week, will vary to meet staffing requirements. You will be offered shifts as they become available; some will be scheduled in advance, while others may be called in with short notice to cover for someone unable to work.

In this role, you will act as a proactive security partner, protecting some of the country's leading organizations. You are expected to read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), acting quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently, analyze situations, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
