About the Role
The Security Officer serves as the frontline guardian of Valley View Casino & Hotel, dedicated to protecting the life, property, and well-being of our guests, team members, and assets. Working under immediate supervision, this role is critical to maintaining the "Standards of Excellence" that define our hospitality environment. You will be the face of our security team, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere while upholding strict policies and regulations.
In this position, you will rely on your judgment and adherence to established guidelines to navigate a dynamic 24/7 environment. Your day-to-day involves more than just observation; you will be actively engaging with guests to resolve complaints, providing personalized service, and acting as a dispatcher during emergency situations. Whether coordinating with outside agencies, managing the flow of information during special events, or ensuring the secure transport of company funds, your actions directly contribute to the operational integrity and safety of the casino floor.
Hiring Process & Application
Candidates selected for this role must be prepared to undergo a comprehensive vetting process. This includes passing applicable skill testing and auditions, as well as a drug screening. Successful applicants will be required to apply for and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency and acquire a proprietary guard card within 90 days of hire.
Please note that Native American hiring preference applies to this position. Management reserves the right to revise job descriptions and assign additional tasks as needed to meet operational requirements.
